Re: Special para spawn apart

Of course, in battlecraft there's an "archive file editor". I also use the MDT to extract rfa and add objects. All I want to know is : In order to mod this special spawn point, what is the file I have to modify...

Re: Special para spawn apart

Ok, I think I begin to understand, but all of this is very complicated to me. I'm nothing but a poor classic BC user, not a modder. I would understand better if you explained me something like : "Put the line [ObjectTemplate.setGroup 99] in the file "/conquest/soldierspawn.con" and th...

Special para spawn apart

Hi, I have a question that must have already been asked. But I can't find the solution. Please help me or redirect me to the right topic. I'd like to learn how to make a special spawn flag apart from the standard flag spawn, you know, like in the maps Market Garden or Liberation of Caen. The spawn p...

Re: Light direction

Ok, a lot of thanks for following the thread, but what I wanna know is :

"x, z, y" in 'light directions', is the origin or the destination of the light ???
And besides, the original location of the skybox is 180*. If I change it to 45°, do I have to reconsider the settings ?

Re: Light direction

I'm really really really sorry to re-up this topic, but I still have the same trouble. I think I should keep trying with battlecraft cause at least I know it. But I still have the same problem. Every set of numbers I try, the result is the same : The sun comes from north after generating the shadows...

Re: Light direction

Well well well.

Just consider me as someone who wants to improve, but who's had a too bad connection to look at the videos (using my phone as a e-box)

I've installed editor42, but I can't find the light settings that u're talking about. Where is it please ?

Re: Light direction

Ok thanks, but I'd like to be used to ED42 before using it on a map I already finished. That's why I'm just asking for advices to have the light starting from the skybox's sun.

I'll use ED42 on my next map... Other answers ?
