I noticed how the axis tank fails to get bot crew. It is really weird. :?

Can you host a Area 51 server? I can get on @ 4:30 PM Pacific time (6:30Pm Central time) . Then We could discuss Ideas maybe? (I can't host a server)

wah? I haven't done any hosting of any sorts unless it was an LAN party... your gonna have to walk me through.

P.S. we're on at the same time. :)

EDIT: If I'm gonna host, I'm gonna be using the debug executable. Most useful tool I have, next to the MDT. <-- ignore this, the debugger doesn't support internet games.
ANOTHER EDIT: make sure you also have the modified tank code installed when you join.
YET ANOTHER EDIT: I think I got it. name is "Area 51 test server", and password is "testserverness". Both without quotes. Don't expect magic, I'm hosting on a laptop :?
Okay, it's up. :) You have to change your connection type to LAN (bottom of the right side column) to connect.
Server is now offline. Tell me when you will be able to get on again, and I'll start him up :)

Remember that both of you need all the same files in order to connect. If he has the tank files in his mod that you don't have, there will be real problems.

Yeah I thought about that :D We should move our current Area 51's to a different location and the get the current one again.

PS when you host, does it show up on the internet or will I have to use your IP?

EDIT: I will get on at 4:30 pm Pacific time (If you are in central time, that would be 6:30 Pm) If you can host a server then?? That would be great.

EDIT2: Swaffy and mistamontiel. You are more than welcome to join the server too!

So can you post the whole mod W/ the modded tank?
Also, LAN Stands for "Local area network." So I don't know if it will work.

If you cant get it to work ( I cant at all :) ) Then maybe we could get Swaffy to host?? :mrgreen:

Sweet, if you can tell me where to get the correct version, I'll be happy to join you guys. Or even host if needs be, if I can figure out what to do. I've used "DedicatedServer.exe" before so is that correct?

I'm on Central Standard Time, US. So I'll be trying to join at 6:30 PM. But Again, I need the correct download link to get the current mod version.
