Serverside Model Change?

Postby EMBigMoose » Thu Mar 12, 2020 5:06 pm

I'm a high school teacher and host a game club in my room. Typically, students play BF1942. Based on an idea from a student, I am making an absolutly stupidly modded map. The problem I'm having right now is changing the model of objects serverside. For example, I want the model of the Willy to be turned into the model for the bunkbed. I can get it to work on my computer by editing the Willy in the Objects rfa, but I need help getting it to make that change for when other players join the map.

Is there an easy way that I am missing?

Well, in short the players that join the server need to have the same files that the server has.
There is a lot of limitations to what is possible to do when it come to change craphic things without haveing to download or alter files for both server and clients.

If its just some lan game fun, then its easiest just let them download the file so you have the same setup, they cant use those files to play on internet servers tho.
