Battlefield 1942 zombie mod

I want to play Dayz so bad, but I don't have a computer able to run it. However Battlefield 1942 is recently free, and the maps are huge. A mod like Dayz would be awesome. Searching for food, weapons, ammo, barricading yourself in, trying to survive, and teaming up. I would create that if I knew anything about modding games, but I do not. There needs to be more zombie games. They're the most fun.

I have a zombie mod. I was working on it a little while back to improve the original version, but my laptop got stolen and so I don't have any of my changes, just the base mod when I originally downloaded it. It's not very fun right now, especially with the terrible animations and painfully low-poly weapon models. But I'll try to mess with it sooner or later to see if I can improve it.
