The biggest gun I know so far is from FHSW (M1939 BR-5)

How bout this instead!! Ive been planning on building this thing in 3dmax for a while, the "Karl" seige gun from germany wwII. I think i got the skills now to make a model... unless someone else wants to attempt. Only 6 built & only 1 or 2 still exist... i think. Its a giant mortar on tracks. I'll give it a whirl!
Wikipedia.org link.... very impressive beast!

Re: 31.5 inch Dora rail cannon
btw i have done an italy map for FH 0.7 in tdp mappack 8 called "Gustav Line". That gun would be epic in that map, if someone of you have ever played it?
Re: 31.5 inch Dora rail cannon
You could use the chassis of the existing bf1942 trains as a base for the wheels.. will need a tweak for sure!... but its a good starting point and you know its low poly already..
otherwise looks pretty fair atm
pretty clear pic of a model..
and pleeenty of shots here..

WOW! HOLY #@$%.....
what the hell do you need a gun that big for... i mean, come on...
that thing could probably blow up a whole base... lol would be fun to have though... ill go look for some blue prints of it then try and make it for ya...
and if you wouldn't mind sharing your model you attempted Coroner47, i could try start working of your model.
goodluck on this project any ways!

For blowing sh*t up. lol.mikex222 wrote:WOW! HOLY #@$%.....

Well in WWI the germans had the Paris gun, which fired a smaller caliber round but had a humongous range: A whopping 80 miles, compared to the dora's 24 miles.
Unbelievable, and for 1918...almost 100 years ago.
