Hehe, I've had trouble getting it to show up here.. Good to hear it's working though, I just changed it yesterday.
favicons seem to cache seperate from the other temp files.. It'll pop up one day :)

My tab/shortcut bar.... I'm totally confused now, it's just the same over at bf-games.net.
Since i don't use names in my favourites this should push my mind to a higher level :D

But it's fit ^^

Hm... still doesnt show up in my browser... Maybe IE and FF search for a favicon.ico in the website's root folder automatically, but that isn't the w3c default behaviour, I guess. There should be something like

Code: Select all

<link rel="shortcut icon" href="favicon.ico" />
in the head section of the html code, but isn't. Maybe that's why. Can we try that please? Dont want to be the only one without a favicon :cry:

Ive added a little mod to hopefully fix this.. lmk if its workin for ya!

also I noticed this: Please note that in some cases the favicon will not work properly. In Internet Explorer the favicon is only shown when the page is bookmarked.

although im not sure thats true... im sure ive seen them without having the site bookmarked.. who knows..

Yepp, in IE8 it worked without bookmarking.

Now it does with Seamonkey, too. Thank you. ;)

And yes, I have Strg+F5ed many times now after this topic was posted. The icon never showed up, though.

Cool stuff.

I logged in the other day and saw all these new changes. Good job fook man...everything looks great.

Also as a web developer all I have to say is I hope there is a seat reserved in hell for internet explorer.
