if you are building a mod its always nice to hear of new modding ideas.. this place is gradually becoming full of them.

tried to sign up at your site.. but the 'which tag is our admins tag' question kinda confused so i gave up. this is in-game admin tag?

Stand alone mod without the vanilla maps showing..

think I saw this in DC.. If I have a standalone mod with 3-4 maps can I make the 1942 maps invisible in the map list? so just show the maps for the mod?

Random Control Point position..

So assume you start in the middle of a very, very large map. This is a desert rally style map... I want the racers to have to try and reach a control point on the edge of the map but it would be interesting if that final destination varied each time the map loaded. I could just spawn people randomly...

I guess most mods never have that many maps (included with the mod) so it was never an issue or something people needed.. ?

lol.. its by using the debug exe though so multiplay not possible. never tried this though.. you can mod like this in bf2/2142.. really useful way to setup vehicles etc without the constant restarts.
