Well what a fail!
I downloaded the origin version, purely just so there was a load of servers to play on...
Any time I try to play I get invalid CD key, and now....
My original (vanilla) BF1942 doesn't work, crashes when trying to load a game, only mods work.

Re: Battlefield 1942 Free to play at Origin
Well I looked on origin... Shooters? No... Free games? No
I only found it under demos...
Clicked "Get it now" and all I get is an error: "There was a problem initiating your download. Please try again later."

Re: Battlefield 1942 Free to play at Origin
Grrr! Now see loads of games with players on the BF42 server browser, but can't join them!
Not much thought went into this did it...
Can I download the origin version and still run my original disc version of BF42 separately?

Well, at the moment, this map loads OK in debug mode, but can't get it to load in fullscreen mode or on my server...
The only thing I can see it complaining about (both locally and on server) is lcvprudder and lcvppropeller

DC Final - changing weapons on F15
Hi all, bit of a rusty coder here. Done quite a bit of modifying code in BF42 in the past. I'm trying to recreate one I done a few years ago. Basically I've given the F15 in DC (DC Final) bombs. I've loaded it as a custom object on Invasion of the Philippines, almost everything now seems to be worki...

Battlecraft 42, textures
I've been modding some maps, and until now I've been placing objects by educated guess and test, just editing the con files. I downloaded BC42 the other day (wow it's been a long time!) so I could load it up and add a load of vehicles, get the coordinates and edit my patches/con files. Now from what...

Re: Yo Im new Here
Hi zicka. The best way to learn about modding and coding for BF1942 is to get stuck in and have a look around. That's how I learnt. Download the BF1942 mod development kit. In there you will find Winrfa. This is a tool for exploring, extracting and packing rfa files, which contains all the .con file...
