Greetings from a fellow BF1942 modder! I was redirected here from the old Server Side Modding domain and am pleased to find another active BF1942 modding community.

I’m the mod leader of the Global Front mod for BF1942. GF is a mini-mod for Desert Combat that adds new armies, vehicles and maps. We will soon be releasing the first public beta after many internal betas. Besides working on Global Front, I still play FH on a regular basis.

I’m willing to share our modding experiences gained by working on Global Front, so modding in BF1942 may continue and reach the 10-year mark!

Hey! I recall seeing you somewhere else before...

The original owner of SSM left and recently had the domain and PHP forum sold. Luckily fo0k (the one that runs this site) got the domain and original forum before anyone else with shady intentions got it.

Long story short, this is the new redux of the serverside modding forums. The old forums will be put up as a archive sometime in the near future and will be linked to on main forum page.
