Battlefield 1941 is modification of the Battlefield 1942.

Modification Battlefield 1941 uses approached to historical symbolics of the countries-participants of war, Battlefield 1941 does not advance and does not encourage a crime or idea of Nazism and the Japanese Imperialism. If this game extends in any country where it is illegal represent or to extend any Nazi or imperial symbolics you as the user, take up full legal responsibility and risk, anyhow, connected with use of these files.

Though updating Battlefield 1941 also aspires to reach historical reliability as a whole, do not assume, that a structure, sounds and other files containing in this expansion, on 100 % are correct.

Its not new content in, looks like the regular BF1942 Vanilla.

Better you download Battlegroup 42 1.7 or the Forgotten Hope 0.7!
There you have good quality.

Clearly some significant differences and additions to vanilla BF.

I'd still rather play Forgotten Hope. It has over 100 air vehicles, and the land vehicles list looked like it was 3 times as long as the airplanes list.

And the hand weapons look nice in it.

Battlegroup 42 1.7 is also a good mod SUN and WED 8pm CET is the BG42 Event on the MOB Conquest Server.
And on the Monday the [JiF] Monday EVents at 8pm CET.

The main differences mods FH and BG42 from original BF1942 - a considerable quantity of vehicles, maps and the changed realistic gameplay.
In mod BF1941 the gameplay practically does not differ from the original, insignificant differences are only because of addition of vehicles and the weapon from RtR and SW, and also numerous small changes in scripts and the schedule. The main idea of my mod - to raise drawing level in old-kind Battlefield1942, basically it becomes for the bill of addition of new structures and versatile processing of the old. There are certainly and other improvements, but against structures and possible defects they not so are appreciable - sounds, models, ai, maps, scripts, effects and another are edited.

While this obviously doesn't execute major changes like FH and BG, it's not too bad as a graphical update.

Although there are a few weird things.

For example, some classes have the bayonet rifle which uses the pistol's ammo while the engineer, with his own rifle, DOESN'T have the bayonet.

Also, I only found the Flakpanzer on Berlin even though they would logically be present in Arnhem or even Bocage.

Overall, it would be a lot better if it also dared to modify the vehicle and weapon designs. For example, giving extra seats to the Willy/Kubelwagen or, dare I say it, give the R75 motorcycle a sound script that actually WORKS.

Or, for example, making the Shotgun's spread more reasonable.

Besides, I figured the mod could use some kind of review which shows a more exact picture of its content.

Unfortunately I do not speak in English, and visitors of the forum did not show the attention to my mod. Since my last report, much has changed - released several new versions, bug fixes are available, work continues on the graphics part of mod, has also been running a dedicated server.
