Re: Battlefield Heroes mod for BF1942...
I thought having the player skip through 3 different videos was a bit much so I removed it in v2.0, but I can add it back if there is demand for it.

I've reenabled the video and it will be there in the next version. The BFHeroes team is working on a Wake Island map. Once they release it to the live game, I will begin work on porting it to the mod and releasing it as v2.6.

..They want to port a LEGENDARY 1942 map to BFH..!? YEH !!
Great work as usual, Apache !! L0VE IT !! That lone server needs a wake up call, though. He's outdated.
I host, but it's "START INTERNET". Nothing dedicated.
EDIT: 0h W0W. MoonGamers are hosting your stunning conversion mod, too !! I have urged them to get up to date with 2.5 as well

lol yeah. I plan on porting Wicked Wake as soon as it's in the live game. So I'm porting a map that's been ported from BF1942 to BFH back to BF1942 again.

Coming soon to v3.0 (will be v2.6 if I can't get new textures for the boats I plan to add) is Wicked Wake.
I got Wicked Wake ingame. It's got all the staticobjects and is fully lightmapped. It now just needs the material map tweaked, vehicles/controlpoints/spawnpoints added, and bots added among a few other things. It's getting there.
Video of what it looks like thus far:
Please note it will take longer to do this map since I have a job now and thus I have a LOT LESS time then I used to. So I can't hammer down entire map conversions in a single day like I used to.

Lookin' great. But one question, Apache
How come practically all explosives don't damage ? Not even the nade does
The only one I seen that took maybe half health was the pack remote thingy. The one that you could shoot and it will explode

Most of the projectiles are set up to take similar amounts of damage that they do in the real BFH game. That's normal.
