But the question is, can you see more, or did you just fiddle with it and got nothing?

A picture is worth a thousand words, but takes up three thousand times the memory.

Move it further ahead. You are getting close.
Don't worry, I had to do this for every vehicle and hand weapon in my mod when I changed my FOV...

@Vilespring
I thought fiddling was the whole point.
Maybe when I'm done sorting out all the glitches with increasing FOV I'll back to my starting point (at least for most vehicles). There should hopefully be a consistency between all the vehicle types in the end. We'll see. But I'm fine with not being able to see more when in certain vehicles. I suppose it makes sense when looking out a small hatch.
At least it's rare to see a glitch with infantry. I did notice the arm model when reloading the Gewehr 43 was a bit too short for 1.3333 and so the arm will 'float' in the air for a very brief time, but mostly it works without anything noticeable 'wrong'. I could adjust the camera for such weapons, too, or I could lower the FOV for consistency.
@Swaffy
I'll try that.
Also, which FOV do you use?
