Hi Mates!
I just noticed that the mod Pirates has some "bugged" maps.
These maps are mayde by the Pirates team, so they belong to the install.
I mean the server manager (v2.01) can not load them.
bfp_dire_straits.rfa
bfp_shark_haven.rfa
I remember i played on these maps, so i don't know what can be the problem.
Does anybody remember some solution?
(If i made a local server and load the map it works for me!)

Re: Pirates maps problems
Can you be specific with your problem? Do the maps not load, or do they crash to desktop during loading?
Have you tried running the debugger to see what the problem is?

Ok, i will write it down.Classical Modder wrote:Can you be specific with your problem? Do the maps not load, or do they crash to desktop during loading?

If we try to load it on the server machine with remote/server manager(like nextmap) it can not load it and we are just waiting to change at the end of the map. Nothing happens.
But if somebody else do it for himself from ingame, everything works fine.
I think it is the remote manager prob, not a stuff for debugger. (Can someone pls give a link to that debugger? I lost it somewhere ... )
Re: Pirates maps problems
Are they crashing during Co-Op loading or Conquest loading? (What game mode?)

Re: Pirates maps problems
The maps have cq and ctf and both versions of both maps are making the server not load the map.Swaffy wrote:Are they crashing during Co-Op loading or Conquest loading? (What game mode?)
Re: Pirates maps problems
Both maps works fine in linux server when i tested, but with windows server it took 3+ minutes to load the maps. For some reason its the Brig ships causing this.
It might have something to do with the "BrigSpawnGroups" but im not sure.

Re: Pirates maps problems
Yepp, i found that also. I just tested to take out the spawnable objects, than put in one by one and the "brig" was the problematic, so i changed it to a nother ship and works great!freddy wrote:Both maps works fine in linux server when i tested, but with windows server it took 3+ minutes to load the maps.
