i fooled around some with this command for the first time yesterday, after a while it gets quite qluttered and i wonder if there´s any quick way to "reset" the map so to speak.

You can try turning it off, then pressing esc, then esc again to get back ingame and see if it clears it. Altering the console.showstats command might also clear it too.
