Treemesh: texture of the trees?

Post by anselmus »

Ok, I know that through MDT, I can open the file Standardmesh.rfa, and know the texture used by an object.
However, I open file Treemesh.rfa, but do not shows texture used on trees, grass, etc.
So, how do I find the correct texture of the trees?

Simple. The textures have in 99% of cases the exact same name as the treemesh. And you even can get a quick and easy preview of the trees in question by checking the treemesh\Billboard subfolder. Here are simply textures that are used for trees on long range, where the complex meshes are replaced with simple sprites.
