Re: Some interesting things achieved with c_CGStaticObjects
Is there anything that could be done to make the CTF flag respond to meshes?

The CTF flag behavior is probably a hard coded thing. Not sure it can be controls via normal means.

I have cameras in your head!

Instead of making the flag do object stuff, maybe one could just snatch some of its functions and use them on a object instead. Need to dissect that flags function.

By doing this you wouldn’t get the CTF flag announcements when a flag is dropped, stolen or captured.freddy wrote:Instead of making the flag do object stuff, maybe one could just snatch some of its functions and use them on a object instead. Need to dissect that flags function.

I dont know. It was just a suggestion to look at the problem from another angle.
I mean its already possible to use the flags "tag" function on players without even having any ctf flags in the map.
