I don't think it would work like that. I've tried that, and mods like FH and BG42 have changed material IDs, for example, the Tiger 2 from FH, as far as BF 1942 vanilla knows, the front is jeep, sides are plane wing, and the rear is battleship armor. (lol, wut?)

so, he has to modify all the vehicles to work together in the same mod.

In other words...

The mod looks too simple and too close to the vanilla game to require that much hard drive space.

Classical Modder,
I really appreciate you trying to help me decrease the size of my mini-mod. However, I have actually decreased its size from what I was originally going to release it at, by doing exactly what you said (making it read off other mods), and of course because I would not be able to release it as a mini-mod unless I did just that. I have tried multiple combinations, and scripting edits to decrease the size even more, but to no avail. Sorry for the size, but I hope you give it a try. Tell me if you do.
