F9 - 1st and 3rd Person Cam Views?

I gave this idea another go. I am close to getting my desired result, but there's still a problem.

not sure but i think mayby you got the camera inside the plane, try and move it some more and see if it gets clear

That was my exact thought too; it seems to me that when using the F9 button to switch the cameras, both use the 1st person mesh for the plane.

Am I just going to have to use a 3rd person mesh for the internal cockpit? This might make everything look uglier.

This is what it looks like after changing the 1p mesh to the 3p mesh:

I don't think there's a way to make the first F9 camera use the 1P mesh and have the second F9 cam use the 3P mesh, it's one or the other. So with some tweaking for the camera positions, I might be able to work around this problem.

cameras in bf42 give me headache the tube vid seems ok to me
