making map only playable online

So lets say I want to make a map where you can only play it on my server.. Attempting to run it locally would just fail without the server files..
How can one do this... does a client map need conquest folder for instance? (assuming its connecting to a server with it..)
just want general thoughts on this .. its for a puzzle style map.. which is why the more i can control from the server.. the more fun it will be to figure it out.. rather than just cheating or taking a look at the map files..
on a similar but side note.. Dice were considering making the Single player campaign of Bad Company use serverside ai.. as a piracy prevention thought. would be too impractical but effective..
