Can only have one object use the envmap.. but nice effect.

It looks very nice and then i dont mean just the lightmaps and envmap, the round things looks round and not like its made up by cake pieces.

It's just a test map of mine mamba.

but..! it was made for the is82 mod.. however its a simple tweak to a couple of files to get running in standard 1942.
in the main maps init.con change the kits to something from a 1942 map
in the menu/init.con change it from "interstate" to bf1942.. etc
that should make it work I think in 1942.

Wow, you're going to make this old game look like it's new.
Was the lighting a part of the textures, or is the object really lighting up the surface? If the latter, try making a moving object that lights the surface. Like a scanner thing that moves along the wall? I don't know.

I wonder, is it possible to just do a refresh on the existing maps and vehicles, like high resolution or something and combine that with that awesome lightmaps and round shapes and such?

It's light maps swaffy... so it's a secondary texture but static... Nothing dynamic going on.
Totally could remake all tex and smooth models..
