Side Scroller Moon Lander MOD!

I have always loved the original (80's) genre of the lander/moon lander games.. simple rocket thruster fun..
also played the new 'unmechanical' the other day which prompted this.
so I thought I would try it in '42. maybe 20 hours work at present.

So far the results are good.. side scrolling allows for a lot more fakery of the lights too!
could be setup to complete the course in a time limit and also needing to collect fuel along the way...
You control the ship with just 2 buttons.. left and right rockets.. either on mouse buttons or just map whatever keys you are happy with I guess. Could include guns..
Currently it is just a test craft and tunnel.. (should be possible to have AI bots waiting at 'fuel depots'.. they could run up and fix you! heheh)
I have some (but surprisingly little..) collision issues at times (the ship is held between 2 invisible planes) but I think some springs on the corners of the ship should solve it. edit- 8 springs on all corners has made this solid as a rock - previously was just mesh on mesh keeping the ship between the planes but now the springs keep it nice n smooth.. during testing a few bumps would previously knock the ship out of the planes.. but now.. I have just spent 10 mins trying as hard as possible to crash, spin and generally upset the ship... but to no effect
- remember soldat? - could be used for similar as well as space stuff..)
It is a lot of fun.. have tried a few different ship setups from heavy and slow through to fast and responsive..
