Problems with Battlecraft 1942

Well after i finished the BF1942 game tasks i want to play more maps cause after all these maps become little bit boring so i researched on the internet "can i make my own map "? And of course how. So i found Fo0k's trailer(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X7ycPX1w1-Y) and i can say it is great tutorial. Anyway i followed his steps carefully and i saw i need BC42 to download i done that and installed it properly like he said. And when i open the desktop Icon of the BC1942 i get this 2 errors:




I just press OK and it says that BC42 will continue to work but if he found more problems he will quit and thats hapend when i press to create new map and screen just freeze and BC42 is gone like i turn it off. I would like if some1 could help me with this or just send me in PM or post it here and empty map created in BC1942 that i can continue my work what i started in Editor1942 which is absolutely working fine whitout problems.

I get those two same error messages when I forget to run Battlecraft as an administrator, maybe that is your problem

if you are using win7.. then you need to edit the paths to Battlefield 1942.

(This happens at 11:50 in the youtube vid)

so should be C:\Program Files (x86)\EA Games\Battlefield 1942

The (x86) being the key difference.

you can change this path from within the settings of Battlecraft.




...if thats the problem.. Im guessing it is.

Unfortunately its XP...

I tried youre suggestions but nothing helpes its still giving me errors.

Have you checked the game path in BF1942.Cfg?? (Its in the Battlecraft directory) If BF1942.cfg is not there then it is Bc42.cfg.
the path there might not be the correct game path. at the very top it will say: GamePath=C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 1942\ You just have to make sure that that is right.
