Has anyone had this problem before? I cannot seem to find a fix. I am revising an old map for the Interstate82 mod.
Altering the terrain and fog view distances has not had any effect.
Cheers,

Re: Terrain Glitch
Only time i´ve seen something like that, was when i was messing around with the "GeometryTemplate.yScale 0.6" in the terrain.con file
There is some other code there like "GeometryTemplate.texOffsetX" and "GeometryTemplate.texOffsetY" im just guessing now, but may be worth a look at the values

Re: Terrain Glitch
I've only seen that happen for me when I gave the fog or view distance really high values, but that might just be for me, not sure
Re: Terrain Glitch
That usually happens when GeometryTemplate.LodDistance in terrain.con is too high.
Re: Terrain Glitch
open the map in an editor and apply the smoothing tool. You have ground vertices that are unstitched...not sure of the exact terminology, but that's what I call it. You will see these same "glitches" when modeling the terrain in Ed42 before smoothing

Re: Terrain Glitch
Solved
I lowered the terrain distance back to default 350 and tweeked the init.con.
