Battlefield 1942 Mods, Modding Tutorials & Forums

All other game related text is fine...but I haven't had text under my radio buttons for the longest time. Yeah, I've memorized all the commands, but when I play custom maps / maps I don't play often, I can't call for help at a certain flag because they have no names!

Its quite possible I screwed something up years ago. I think at one point i fiddled with the radio menu files. But I've since reinstalled several times, I believe.

Ideas? If its the menu file, can someone upload a copy?

I think the "text" for the radio icons are defined in the lexicon. Assuming you didn't muck around with the meme files.

i had the same problem once but i dont remember how i solved it, i think you maybe can get it to work by pressing the F8 button like twice ingame

otherwise there is this line in GeneralOptions.con located in Mods\bf1942\Settings\Profiles\"your profile"
