I need to run shadow generation on a large map.. I had an old batch file for this but it has been fubar'ed...

could someone post some working script to squeeze out a few shadows please

Have been googleing a while and noticed an app called BF Light.exe

Does anyone have a copy of this app? All links I found were (as predicted) dead on arrival.

Hopefully we can get all this stuff together for safe keeping.

I have always just used Battlecrap at the final stage to render terrain lightmaps but it wont allow full terrain Large maps so shadow gen becomes a pain. I cant believe I have missed this tool until now.. It's great.

it will generate a custom imlist.dat file and also take the pain out of manual shadow gen, merging and objectlightmap gen.

Dnamro put together a nice "offline modding guide" with tons of usefull information and some great tools. Some of the links (rapidcrap e.g.) are dead, but the BF Singleplayer one works.
