i'm trying to install the 3DSMax Tool into my computer.

What did i do:
I download the 3DSMax 8.0 from internet, i have install the 3DSMax 8.0 correctly.

The Problems i have:
the installion program of 3DSMax tool in MDT said: it requires 3DSMax 5.0 or greater version, but i already installed 3DSMax 8.0.

What do i want to do:
I want to install the 3DSMax Tool but how to install it without blocking of version problem?

MDT only works best with versions 5-7. However, I think someone here made a tutorial on how to run it with 8.

It only works with:

- 3ds Max 5
- 3ds Max 6
- 3ds Max 7
- 3ds Max 8 with custom plugin: [Link]

I use version 7. I don't know what you're supposed to do with the version 8 plugin thing.

If I were you, I'd just go look for a torrent for 3ds Max 7. That's what I did, and it saves a lot of trouble [and money, since I don't even have a job.]
