Add a destroyer + spawnpoints?

I’ve searched around for info/guides, but can’t seem to find any.

Can anybody explain how to add a destroyer with two regular spawnpoints (driver, rear) to Midway vanilla SSM?

The map has two destroyers for each side, so this would be the third.

Thank you for the reply, but i'm a noob :D and get confused by all the carrier stuff. I would like a more basic method, only involving destroyers if possible :)

It is more or less impossible to do that ssm, because the ships will have the exact same name you cant addtemplate or removetemplate from just one of them.

There is ways around but its ugly and i dont think theres one that will work 100% all the time unless you make the ships unsinkable.

Is it correctly understood, that the problem with adding more destroyers to Midway, is the lack of spawners from other ships, because all ships are in use at that map ?

Is it possible to add two more destroyers per team to Midway, so that each side has four, and make each destroyer only have one spawnpoint - by splitting the four spawners (2 x driver + 2 x rear) between those four destroyers - resulting in two destroyers with driver spawns, and two destroyers with rear spawns ?

Post number two from the top might hold the solution to this .... haven't tested it yet :

Its all down to the ships names, you have fletcher and fletcher2 and you cant addtemplate or removetemplate anything on just one fletcher2 and let a second fletcher2 be untouched by that.

Ok, but is it possible to have four destroyers for each team at midway with one spawnpoint for each destroyer?

if yes, can somebody explain how, so that a beginners like me can understand it (what code inserted where?) ?

no sry but it isnt possible in any nice way, you cant shuffle around the spawns because of the name problem. think about it, how are you gonna put one single spawn on just one ship when there is two ships with the exact same name?

the only way to do it is ugly and doesnt work well, it takes a lot of coding and pco´s and you have to use random spawners and play with timings, its just to nasty.
