That's the thing though, I'd have to spawn PCOs that explode. I'm worried about the lag it would cause, even if they are not networked.

Well, make only one on the map at a time to reduce lag, if online.
If I'm playing by myself, I make all the lag I (don't) want. Then I crash the game due to too much networking info. (If I'm correct. I have an super MLRS that fires uber fast. It crashes after prolonged fire. If I remove the networking info, will that fix the problem?)
well,let's admit it, this is kind of a engine limitation. It can be used to make cluster bombs, or flame throwers that have the flame bounce off walls. With the sacrifice of lag, of course.
