Good suggestion. Unfortunately, I tried that earlier and when all of the seats filled up, somehow the driver used the throttle key and took off. I have no clue what caused that, because none of the code has anything set to the throttle key. I had also went through the code and changed the throttle key for the other seats to their seat position (so seat 3 would have PIMenuSelect3) so none of the code for that vehicle uses the throttle key. maybe play with setting the aiTemplatePlugIn.setSelectKey to a null key that the bot can't select?

I tried another way, just setting the key to the Exit Vehicle key (PIUse).
Anyway, getting back to the original topic, the bots seem to be ignoring the halftracks/APCs still. Is it a matter with the weapons on the vehicle, or maybe they choose faster vehicles over a slower one?

Actually, let me correct my last post. The bots weren't using the APC I was observing because of its placement in the base. But when I moved it towards their common walking area they all jumped in it. So yes it did work.Vilespring wrote:Ah. that works better.![]()

Well, I always counted on the AI not using the halftrack, so I at least was able to drive it...
