Excuse me, guys.
I have one question. What is the best tool for compressing RFA files? Normally, I use a tool called "MakeRFA" for compressing files, but it is a bit too slow when it comes to compressing "StandardMesh" and "Texture" files into the respective RFA files. Now, I do not want to have to use "BGA" because when I used it for converting Liberation of Caen into a single player map (I combined the single player elements, which were made by Matthias Schoeldgen, with the elements from the original EA/DICE map; it was for my personal use only), it did not appear on the single player section of the main menu. Is there a tool that can efficiently and quickly compress files into RFA format? I would like to know. Thanks.

The map not showing up in single player was not the problem of the packer, rather the map was not defined to be single player. I do not remember where the file is to fix that.

There is a GUI_RfaPack.exe in the mdt pack, havent used it for many years so i dont remember if it was slow.

Well, freddy, I have tried that, and it managed to compress "standardMesh" files into an RFA file faster than MakeRFA (I will still use MakeRFA for maps, though). I also compressed texture files into another RFA file, but it was slow in doing that. I do not know if MakeRFA would be quicker in compressing texture files into an RFA file, though.freddy wrote:There is a GUI_RfaPack.exe in the mdt pack, havent used it for many years so i dont remember if it was slow.

GUI_RFAPack is only slow the first time you use it after restarting your PC. After that it is screaming fast.
