Battlegroup 42 need 3 D Model help!

Post by buschhans »

BG 42 Team ask: This time we need the help of our fans to identify a vehicle. The following 3D model of a car maybe becomes part of BG42 if we can give it a proper name. So can someone tell us precisely what type this car is? There is also a possibility that it is a generic model. What do you think?

If do you can help, thats welcome.:-)

I know it, and I don't. That is the part that annoys me the most. I'm also a tank guy, not a car guy. If that was a tank, I would know what it is in no time!

Thank you for you feedback.
The Battlegroup 42 Mod included a lot of tanks. This is a eye catcher, and as alternative for the Jeep's.
I find this car gives the time a good touch, because its a specially one.

Can't say that model rings any bells. The biggest problem with identifying that will be the fact that they don't know the country of origin. I will certainly keep an eye out, though...

Edit...

After a quick search, it seems this may be a generic model, or a hybrid. The tall, thin flat-style grill would suggest a 1930s design (with a few exceptions) while the rounded body panels and fenders are more of a 1940s design. If it is going to be used as a replacement for a scout vehicle, I'd name it a Scout Coupe and roll with it (pun intended). It can also always be damaged and used as a nice static on any map, regardless if they know the make/model or not :)
