Specific Spitfire model from vanilla game?
Specific Spitfire model from vanilla game?
I've been wondering about which model of the Spitfire is used in the vanilla game. It has a griffon engine, rounded wing tips, the old canopy style (not bubble) and two Hispanos. Like the body of a Spit Mk XIX (19).. What is it?

Re: Specific Spitfire model from vanilla game?
I always wondered why DICE made such shitty models. T-34-76 and T-34-85 (T34) in game are the worst tank models I've ever seen in my life, seems like the person who made them was extremely drunk or stoned or whatever.
Spitfire is kind of a mutant as well. Five-bladed propeller means XIV or XIX, but I think that BF1942 has nothing to do with realism so it's just "Spitfire", lol

Yeah, I've been thinking the same. Just perts from different models. I think it's basically a Spitfire Mk XVI (Mk 16) with a mutated Griffon engine.
So I just renamed it to Griffon Spitfire in my mod. XD

The T-34 tanks are also trash. The T-34-76 is, something else. More like an A-20 with a mini-T-34-85 turret.
Also some serious lack of KV/IS tanks...

A picture is worth a thousand words, but takes up three thousand times the memory.
