Hey guys,
Is it possible that anyone knows if you could use the 'Right' click option (coding) that is used for Artillery strikes; but, modify it to be used for sniping in the battlefield game. This way it would give a more real effect hopefully.... because you would have to adjust for distance and what not (left to right) kind of like adjusting your artillery shot from the zoom made by binnoculars.

If you mean hand-held scoped rifles, no.

It'd be a bit disorienting considering how fast bullets are.
A picture is worth a thousand words, but takes up three thousand times the memory.

That is true.
but,
You know how the pov changes after you fire an artillery shell and the camera pov follows the round; is it possible to skip the 'follow artillery shell pov' and simply look at your target through the sites of what it looks like while in the artillery gun and without the animation of pov change?
Then sniper rifles scope has a view using the artillery view (X, Y) with the yellow lines as the guide for altering how you want to shoot and it always lets you view in one direction through the lense of artillery as a new scope. I'm not sure if you can, because I suspect the 'pov follow artillery round' is animation built into the game.

Re: Blending Artillery Scope & Sniper Rifles
Sadly there is a lot of things we modders would love to do but cannot because we have no access to the game's source code.
If we had access to the source code then Bf1942 modding would become the coolest thing in the world.
