Triggering a non-idle animation
Hi guys, I'm trying to make lean-over animations. For this I decided to edit the existing "prone" animation to a lean-over animation (when the "prone" key is pressed, the soldier stays in a standing position, but his upper-body leans to the right). The problem is I need to edit another existing animation to have the soldier lean to the opposite direction (to the left). So I thought I would edit the walk animation to replace it with a lean over animation. However the walk animation can only be triggered when the soldier is running. Is there a way to trigger the walk animation while the soldier stands still, and not while he is running? Thanks in advance.

I think the big question is, are you able to get the camera to move to the side so a player can see around the corner? Even if you get the animation to work I would think the camera movement is the most important part.
