What does Force Material ID do in 3DSMax?
Is it set a material ID to the model and u can't change it?

It sets the specified material to all faces of the collision mesh(es) on export. Don't use this if your mesh has multiple materials defined. For example a tank could have mat id 54 on the front while the sides have mat id 52. If you use force material on export it will set the entire mesh to a single material.
