I went through the process of using Editor '42 to edit the pathmaps. I used Single Player Creator to convert the pathmaps of my map to the map's ground texture. After editing/painting the ground to what I liked, I saved and did all the converting to get my RAW files.
After I finished all of that, I tested the map to see if the bots were using that pathmaps correctly, then realized some areas where they weren't going. So I converted the RAW file to a BMP to see those paths, and it appears that some of the areas were not drawn correctly.
SO. Is there a way I can convert a BMP image to the pathmap RAW file? I don't mind using Editor '42 to edit pathmaps, but it isn't the most reliable way to do it since the edited texture is converted back to a pixelated image, I'd like to be able to edit the pathmap via BMP image to get the best accuracy.

You need this: http://www.velotech.net/battlefield/gen ... 041114.rar
As I remember, you just drag and drop your .bmp onto genraw.exe and it creates .raw file. But it'll be better to look readme.

Re: Pathmaps: convert from BMP to RAW?
Thank you sir. I had some trouble with the directory paths in the batch files due to my directory having a space in it (it was "EA GAMES" before), so I just worked around it.
This will come to be very useful.
Quick question though: do you know of a way I can use a directory with a space in it? I tried using quotation marks, it still didn't seem to work.
