This section is pretty much for BF1942 related stuff, there's a section for Vietnam, 2, 2142, and the others.

And sorry, I haven't worked with 2142, let alone play it long enough to understand it.

I found a script a long time back that helped when I ported Battlefield Heroes into BF1942. Most of the statics and all of the vehicles now use the original collision meshes from BFH (except fro the COL01 mesh on the tanks since the originals have a design flaw)

I've uploaded it for you:

colmeshimp.ms

Run the script in 3DS Max and open the collision file. Unlike the other scripts you used to import the visible meshes, this one does not parse tweak/con files. You open the collision files directly with it. ;)

I did port the Titan at one point. But I think it was before I had the collision mesh importer script. :P

It might. I don't have Gmax, so I couldn't tell you. Sorry. :(

Good to hear that it works. Don't forget to remap the material IDs on the mesh. BF2/BF2142 always uses materials 0-10+ and so on and then defines which materials they go to via the con files. It won't translate like that in BF1942. So you can look at what each material was mapped to in the BF2/BF2142 tweak files, then change the materials in the collision mesh to match a similar material in BF1942. ;)
