Re: Map Request: very simple
Yeah it opened the notepad, do you have a solution? I'm kind of puzzled here.

Re: Map Request: very simple
All finished greenbean. Here you go sir. I know this map isn't exactly how you envisioned it. But since you have no time to try and learn the ropes of mapping, this is what I took away from your modest request. Let us know what you think.

I hope you know how to extract it!

Hi! Thanks alot for doing the map. I only have 1 problem...it opens a notpad when I save it to levels
I have downloaded maps before so I know what i'm doing there. I don't know why it is happening here. Also thank you for helping me out and taking time out of your schedule to do this

Re: Map Request: very simple
I think it has to be an .RFA file. Is there any way you can make it a .RFA file?

Otherwise, listen up junior.
The map IS in .rar format aka compressed.
Your job is to open it up.
right click the .rar, either select "extract here" or "extract file"....
If you select "extract file" the you most tell it where to be extracted to.
example:
C:/program files(x86)/EA Games/Battlefield 1942/mods/BF1942/Archives/BF1942/Levels

Once you extract it the map will be shown as .RFA
I packed the map up as .RAR so it will take less time to UPLOAD/DOWNLOAD
Wrap your mind around the concept please sir.
If you are unable to extract the .RAR version of the map then you must download WINRAR....it allows you to extract files that have been packed up via .RAR
