for example, giving my machine gun a rate of fire from 10 to 14 yields the exact same rate of fire once in-game.
raise it to 15 and the weapon suddenly fires a lot faster.
are there known threshold values where a weapon's rate of fire actually WILL change?
does template.roundoffire have threshold values?
Re: does template.roundoffire have threshold values?
It doesn't do that to me.
I can even use decimal numbers such as 11.73 so that I can make the fire rate perfectly match the frequency of the looping gunshot sounds.

Re: does template.roundoffire have threshold values?
is the roundoffire setting only found in the individual handweapons folder or are all the weapon settings found in one folder like handweapons/common?
because i swear to god that going from 14 to 15 shots per second is like flicking an on/off switch as far as ammo expenditure goes.

Re: does template.roundoffire have threshold values?
Well, my rate of fire is usually 10 or less. If I want a really fast-firing gun, I just "rem" out the RoundOfFire line.
